Bleeding Disorders Awareness Month
Bleeding Disorders Awareness Month (BDAM) is observed each March to raise awareness, promote advocacy, and support individuals and families living with inherited bleeding disorders such as hemophilia and von Willebrand disease.
Throughout the month, HFSC joins the national movement to educate, advocate, and invest in our community’s future. This year, we are raising funds to support scholarships for members of the Southern California bleeding disorders community.
Over the last decade, HFSC has awarded more than $125,000 in scholarship funds to help students pursue their educational dreams.
Your Support Changes Futures
Each year, HFSC awards scholarships to students in our bleeding disorders community pursuing higher education, including university, community college, and trade or vocational programs.
For families already managing chronic medical expenses, these scholarships help relieve financial stress and open doors to meaningful careers, stability, and brighter futures.
Help Us Reach Our $4,000 Goal
This March, our goal is to raise $4,000 to directly support HFSC’s Scholarship Program..
