SUMMARY:BRO Outing - Top Golf (El Segundo)
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a Bleeders Reaching Out (“BRO”) group outing to TOP GOLF in El Segundo!\n“Turning Stumbling Blocks into Stepping Stones” \nPerry thinks of himself as a very lucky guy – but he’s also a firm believer that people make their own luck. Growing up with Hemophilia A\, Perry was told many times by his doctors and nurses that he couldn’t do things\, particularly when it came to sports. But his parents wanted Perry and his brother – who also has hemophilia – to have freedom to make their own good choices. So\, with their emotional support and encouragement\, Perry pushed himself to explore what he could do\, which led to a lifelong love of golf. When he started playing golf professionally\, he was reluctant to tell the other players he toured with about his hemophilia\, fearing they’d think less of him. But when he finally did talk to them about it\, they were impressed with his perseverance.\nThe educational session will be followed with time at the Driving Range to improve your swing and bond with Blood Brothers.\nThis event is open to adults who identify as male (ages 18+) as well as teens who identify as male with a bleeding disorder diagnosis. Teens must be accompanied by a male adult.\nThank  you to CSL Behring for your sponsorship of this event!
