As Manager of Community Engagement\, he oversees IRC community relations\, Language Access and Cultural Competency (LACC)\, emergency services\, and Service Access and Equity. He is also charged with addressing the disparity in the purchase of services through the successful implementation of Community-Based Organization programs\, which receive grant funding from the State of California Department of Developmental Services. \nCJ is a December 2\, 2015\, terrorist attack survivor. The events of 12/2/2015 acted as a catalyst for him to complete a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) with a Specialization in Homeland Security\, Leadership\, and Policy from Northcentral University\, San Diego. His dissertation\, titled\, “Investigating Emergency Operational Procedures and Protocols in the Regional Center System in California: A Qualitative Explanatory Case Study\,” explored the barriers in disaster preparedness within the Regional Center System of Care. \n**THIS EVENT IS FOR COMMUNITY MEMBERS WITH BLEEDING DISORDERS AND THEIR IMMEDIATE FAMILY ONLY**\nPLEASE REGISTER ONLY 1 PERSON per HOUSEHOLD. Summer campers will have an opportunity to get to know each other prior to Camp Blood Brothers and Sisters! \nCheck in is at Friday\, June 2\, 2023 at 4:00pm and Check out is Sunday\, June 4\, 2023 at 11:00am. \nPali Retreat Center has a limited number of beds available for our group and we welcome all immediate family members LIVING IN THE HOUSEHOLD of the person with a bleeding disorder. Priority will be given to families who complete the pre-registration here and \n1. Are recently diagnosed and \n2. Have never attended a family retreat \nThis year’s retreat is $10 per person for the weekend (ages 2 and under free). Once you are pre-registered here\, we will send you the remaining forms and application to complete. \nRefunds are available if requested before May 5\, 2023. \nPlease register only if you are able to attend for the full weekend.
