DESCRIPTION:Join us at our Ventura Snowflake Dinner!/¡Únase a nosotros en nuestra cena de nieve en Ventura! \nJoin HFSC at our in-person Snowflake Dinner in Ventura sponsored by Spark Therapeutics! Due to COVID precautions\, HFSC will be hosting smaller gatherings to celebrate the end of the year. We’ll be providing some bleeding disorders education and then playing games with prizes. All children and teens 18 and under in attendance will receive a $25 Amazon gift card in lieu of a gift this year. Please note this dinner is limited to the patient with a bleeding disorder and their immediate family only. \nPer HFSC policy and NHF guidelines\, all attendees ages 12 and older are required to present proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test result within 72 hours prior to entry. All attendees must continue to wear masks/face coverings at all times\, regardless of vaccination status\, unless actively eating or drinking. \nPlay our White Elephant game! Bring a wrapped item $10 or less with a “self-care” theme to exchange with other attendees! \nHow to Play: \nEach player brings one or more wrapped gifts to contribute to a common pool\nPlayers draw numbers to determine what order they will go in\nThe first player selects a gift from the pool and opens it\nThe following players can choose to either pick an unwrapped gift from the pool or steal a previous player’s gift. Anyone who gets their gift stolen in this way can do the same – choose a new gift or steal from someone else. \n“Unlock the Science of Investigational Gene Therapy Research for Hemophilia” \nIf you like to play games\, have fun\, and learn at the same time\, this is one event you don’t want to miss. Join us and play a virtual adventure game where solving each clue gets you one step closer to unlocking the science behind an investigational gene therapy for hemophilia.
