Casey O’Brien is the Senior Events Manager for the Hemophilia Foundation of Southern California.
Casey joined the HFSC team in 2017 and has planned and executed the Foundation’s monthly events, including educational dinners, women’s and family retreats, golf tournaments, and educational conferences. She has also chaperoned HFSC’s Teen Leadership Summit and attended Washington Days in D.C. to advocate for bleeding disorders.
In 2018, Casey assisted in hosting the record-breaking Unite for Bleeding Disorders Walk, which raised more than $120,000 for Camp Blood Brothers and Sisters, as well as education and resources. Later that year, she was honored to accept the Walk Chapter of the Year Award alongside Executive Director Michelle Kim at the National Hemophilia Foundation’s annual Walk Rally.
Casey previously worked at the Bleeding Disorders Association of Northeastern New York; and prior to working in the bleeding disorders community, was a Legislative Correspondent at the New York State Capitol. Casey graduated from Lasell College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication. Casey enjoys traveling the world, seeing her favorite musicians in concert, and as an avid Disney fan, is thrilled about her proximity to Disneyland.
