Ways to Give
You can make a difference in the lives of all those living with and affected by bleeding disorders in Southern California!
HFSC depends on the generous financial support of individual donors and corporate sponsors to help provide essential programs, services, and activities while also funding education and research that brings us closer to a cure.
Any donation, no matter the amount, makes an impactful difference in supporting our mission. Questions? Please contact Michele Warner, Director of Development, at mwarner@hemosocal.org or 626-765-6656.

Donate through your Donor Advised Fund
A donor advised fund (DAF) is a charitable giving program that allows you to combine the most favorable tax benefits with the flexibility to support your favorite causes, like HFSC.
If you have a donor advised fund, DAF Direct enables you to recommend grants to HFSC directly from your DAF (as long as your DAF’s sponsoring organization is participating).
Planned Giving
With a planned gift to the Hemophilia Foundation of Southern California, you can combine your desire to give to charity with your overall financial, tax, and estate planning goals. Planned giving gives you a special connection with HFSC. You will help those touched by bleeding disorders — for now and for years to come.
If you are an attorney, trust officer, life insurance agent etc. representing a deceased donor who has named HFSC in a will, trust or other type of estate gift, please contact: Rigo Garcia, Executive Director at 626-765-6656 or rigo@hemosocal.org
If you have a living client who wishes to name HFSC as a beneficiary of will, trust or other type of planned gift, please contact: Rigo Garcia, Executive Director at 626-765-6656 or rigo@hemosocal.org

Workplace Giving
Match Your Gift- Double Your Impact!
If your company has an employee matching gift program, you could double the impact of your gift to the Hemophilia Foundation of Southern California.
To find out if your company has a matching gift policy, please click here. If your company is eligible, please let us know of your intentions and contact your HR department for instructions. We will do the rest. The impact of your gift to HFSC may be doubled or possibly tripled! Some companies match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses and even match volunteer hours!
Don’t be discouraged if your company does not appear on this list; they may already have a matching gift program, or your gift to HFSC may inspire them to create one! If you would like to add your company’s name to this list, please contact Michele Warner at mwarner@hemosocal.org
All contributions to HFSC are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowable by law. Tax ID #95-1916053, a 501 (c) 3 organization to which contributions are deductible under Internal Revenue Code Section 170.

Fundraising Events & Campaigns
Unite for Bleeding Disorders Walk
Giving Tuesday
Although Giving Tuesday is technically a one-day campaign, donations can still be made below to support this cause.
Bleeding Disorders Awareness Month
Throughout the month of March, recognized as Bleeding Disorders Awareness Month, HFSC raises funds to help provide scholarships for members of the SoCal bleeding disorders community. Over the last decade, HFSC has given away more than $125,000 in scholarship funds.
Community Fundraisers
While HFSC hosts fundraisers throughout the year, many community members are interested in learning more about how they can host their own fundraisers. These efforts help HFSC continue to offer the high-quality programming that the SoCal bleeding disorder community expects and deserves.
Some examples of community-driven fundraisers to benefit HFSC include: Yard Sales, Golf Tournaments, Bake Sales, Horseshoe Tournaments, Pancake Breakfasts, Spaghetti Dinners, and more!
No matter what event you want to host, we want to help make it a success! Please visit https://www.uniteyourway.org/event/SouthernCal for more details and contact Michele Warner at mwarner@hemosocal.org on how to get set up!
Thank you in advance for your support and dedication to HFSC!
