emPOWERment Webinar Series: “Financial Wellness for People with Chronic Disorders”

What does it mean to be “financially well?” What steps can you take to achieve financial wellness in today’s stressful environment?

In this workshop, we’ll review:

• The impact of fixed money mindsets and how changing our stories around money can change our actions (and our lives)

• The power of values-based spending

• A few steps you can start taking today to secure your future, no matter your income level

You’ll come away from the workshop with some new ideas about money, a template for making financial decisions, and actionable steps to start creating wealth and reducing money stress in your life.

Debra Jacobs is a financial coach who helps people overcome shame, fear, and who are overwhelmed around money and take action to master their personal finances.

She has developed financial literacy curricula, taught classes to teens and adults, presented financial wellness workshops around the country, and worked with many clients to achieve positive, measurable results. Those results include, among others, moving beyond limiting money mindsets, becoming intentional with values-based budgeting, making and carrying out savings and debt pay-down plans, and achieving financial goals.

Prior to starting Money Smart for Life, her financial coaching business, Debra owned and operated a preschool and worked as a parent coach and preschool consultant. She is also a published author and editor, and holds an Ed.M. from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Education. The most important job she’s ever had is being mom to two (now young adult) daughters.
