Washington Days 2026 – Hotel and Airfare Scholarship Application (National Bleeding Disorders Foundation)

Washington Days, organized by the National Bleeding Disorders Foundation, is an opportunity for people affected by inherited blood disorders to advocate for issues that are important to them.
The Hemophilia Foundation of Southern California is now accepting applications to provide hotel and airfare assistance for community members to participate in the National Bleeding Disorders Foundation’s Washington Days, taking place March 4-6. 2026.
- Applications will be reviewed by the Review Committee and awarded based on advocacy history, chapter event participation, and county residency.
- If applicant is a minor, they must have a parent/guardian attend with them. A section below includes Parent/guardian’s information.
- The deadline for submitting completed applications is December 15, 2025.
- NOTE: Number of applicants accepted depends on funding available.

- NOTE
- If applicant is a minor, the minor will share a room with their parent/guardian who is attending with them.
- Applicant must sign up for Washington Days directly with the National Bleeding Disorders Foundation (NBDF)
- If applicant isn’t awarded a scholarship, but is still planning on attending, applicant must pay for their own room and airfare.
