HFSC ANNOUNCES 2025 SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS

The Hemophilia Foundation of Southern California is proud to announce its 2025 Scholarship Recipients for the Christopher Mark Pitkin Memorial Scholarship, the Joshua Kim Advocacy is in Your Blood Scholarship, and the Victoria Mendoza Perez Healthcre Scholarship.

This year’s recipients were selected from a competitive pool of applicants across HFSC’s nine counties in Southern California.

Each scholarship focuses on supporting members of the bleeding disorders community, as well as their siblings and caregivers, as they pursue their educational endeavors beyond high school, continue their work in advocacy, and pursue career paths in healthcare.

“We are honored to support these remarkable students,” said Rigo Garcia, Executive Director of HFSC. “Their hard work, vision, and dedication to the bleeding disorders community came through in each application, and we are so proud of our Southern California scholars.”

Appications for 2026 will be posted on the scholarship page in March.

Thank you to our scholarship donors, including Maria Perez and Joshua Kim, as well as to all who help raise funds at our annual Unite for Bleeding Disorders Walk to support the scholarship program.
