Daniel grew up in Orange County CA, attended Chapman University, and received a BA in Legal Studies and a Juris Doctorate degree, specializing in International Studies. Following a 1-year internship at Thales-Raytheon Systems during law school, Daniel worked for 10 years at two Fortune 100 companies in the aerospace and defense industry. During these work stops, Daniel successfully negotiated over $3B in US Government, Commercial, and International contracts.
Daniel has always been fascinated by space exploration, and in 2015, he accepted a position at a federal laboratory dedicated to the US space enterprise. As Contracts Counsel, he supports research and development contracts with NASA and commercial space companies. Daniel also provides general counsel advice to LA startups and entrepreneurs, and his clients include restaurants, private equity, and naturopathic medicine business owners.
Daniel currently lives in Pasadena CA with his wife Glenda. For fun and exercise, he enjoys trail running (3 ultramarathons and counting), visiting local restaurants and wineries, and has traveled abroad to 40+ countries (his favorite countries include Italy, Morocco, and Cambodia).
