Joseph Olazaba became involved with the bleeding disorders community shortly after his son was diagnosed with moderate hemophilia in 2016. With two nephews also affected, Joseph’s connection to the community is deeply personal. The education, support, and sense of belonging his family received from the Southern California Hemophilia Foundation inspired him to give back and help ensure that other families receive the same compassion and resources that made such a difference in his own life.
Professionally, Joseph is a multidisciplinary designer specializing in retail and restaurant design, as well as branding, signage, and print solutions for local businesses. Through his creative work, he brings ideas to life and helps business owners express their identity through thoughtful design.
As a board member, Joseph brings creativity, empathy, and a strong sense of community. He strives to lead by example—hoping to inspire his son and others in the bleeding disorders community to get involved, give back, and believe that they can achieve anything they put their minds to.
